HR Offshore Marine Management

Bridging Challenges with Solutions

Marine Services

From our offices in Mexico City, Ciudad del Carmen and Houston, we have been a strategic and accessible partner for our customers by consistently meeting their requirements on time, within specifications and within budget.

Ship & OSV Management

From its early days until the present, OMM has a proven track record of supporting logistics for offshore operations by providing ship management personnel for specialized vessels.  In 2009 we started staffing about 120 personnel for five vessels and we gradually expanded to 14 vessels in domestic and international markets.  This amounted to over 330 qualified personnel assigned to these vessels.

Marine Personnel Management

OMM has recruited, selected, trained and managed marine personnel for offshore service operations including supply boats, anchor handlers, construction and maintenance support vessels, including vessels fitted with Dynamic Positioning System, Offshore Drilling Rigs and Heavy Lift Crane vessels.

Since 2009, Mexican and international crews have been assigned for international projects in locations such as Trinidad & Tobago, Venezuela, Colombia, Uruguay, Argentina, and Brazil.  Additionally our crews have delivered and repositioned vessels from and to the Americas to West African locations such as Angola and Ivory Coast, and South East Asian ports in areas such as Malaysia and China.

OMM is a registered provider for marine personnel recruitment and placement in Mexico and internationally and is fully compliant with the MLC 2006 Marine Labor Convention (Reg. 1.4) following its Certificate of Compliance issued by the Panama Marine Documentation Services, a Pamana Maritime Authority recognized organization.  To learn more about MLC 2006 compliance and to see the OMM MLC 2006 Certificate    Click Here.

Oil Spill Response Vessels

In 2012 our customer needed a fast response oil spill response vessel to comply with environmental project constraints.  At the time, there were no such vessels available in the domestic market.  So OMM participated in the design, equipping, staffing, and commissioning of an OSRV.  Additionally, OMM conducted IMO Responder Training for the oil spill response crew.  The company was able to do this in coordination with oil spill response leading experts.   Thus the vessel made history and became the first USA Flagged, USCG certified OSRV with a Mexican oil spill response crew operating in offshore deep water fields contiguous to USA deep water blocks.

Highly Skilled Training

In 2010 OMM responded to the industry’s need for certified DPS senior officers.  We stepped up to the challenge and since then, we have managed to deliver about 30 certified Dynamic Positioning System Senior Deck Officers as DPS operators to the industry.
