HR Offshore Marine Management
Bridging Challenges with Solutions
Always be prepared. Always be in control.
Safety Management & Compliance Enforcement
OMM manages its operations from its offices in Mexico City and Ciudad del Carmen. By coordinating these two operational arms, we have been able to successfully provide induction and training of marine crews in industrial safety practices and familiarization with the onboard safety management systems. Furthermore, our customers have relied on OMM to oversee the compliance and enforcement of such systems.
We manage and consult for Risk Assessment, Audits, Prevention and Correction Programs
OMM understands the complexity of how operational risks intertwine with financial, process, and timeline risks as they relate to E&P projects and assets. Regardless of where the customer is in the timeline of their project, OMM can help its customers manage operational risks.
OMM works as early in the process as risk identification and assessment within the context of the customer’s operations.
OMM works with customers by helping to manage or advise on the strategic options, such as avoidance, prevention, reduction, sharing, or retention. Then OMM can develop, implement, review, or evaluate our customer’s risk management plan.
Capability Reviews, Plans, Training and Exercises
We conduct Capability Reviews, produce Contingency Plans, and conduct Training and Exercise Programs
OMM conducts capability reviews, which correlate the risks with the procedures and resources assigned to manage said risks. Risk and incident specialists identify gaps and corrective actions for offshore or shore base operations.
OMM is able to update or produce contingency plans from scratch. We do Emergency Response Guides, Emergency Response Plans, Vessel Response Plans, Evacuation Plans, Hurricane Plans, Oil Spill Guides, and Oil Spill Plans. OMM is very well versed in IMO and IPIECA standards, particularly for deep offshore high-risk, high-consequence scenarios (as recently revised by the IPIECA Oil Spill Response Workgroup of 2015). We assign consultants, who are used to standards of domestic and international oil spill equipment responders.
OMM provides scalable training solutions to suit the customer’s operations. Training curricula include IMO Oil Spill, Hazardous Waste Operations, and Incident Command System (following the FEMA standard) or the IPIECA Incident Management System.
OMM plans, produces, coordinates, executes, and evaluates simple or complex exercises. We do Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 exercises for single or multiple responders. To do this, we follow industry standards such as IPIECA or PREP Guidelines.
Oil Spill Prevention and Preparedness
We provide specialized Oil Spill Prevention, Preparedness and Response Consulting.
OMM endeavors to stay up to date, and provides world-class technical experts, who conduct oil spill prevention, control and countermeasure programs for offshore projects or assets.
OMM technicians can inspect a facility and identify preventive and corrective actions, necessary oil spill response resources for Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3 oil spill scenarios.
